Generation Social Media Podcast
branding, launching, producing, hosting, and publishing the Generation Social Media Podcast
I’ve always wanted to create a pillar or long-form piece of video or audio content. In 2019, I finally got the green light to start a Chatterkick Podcast. There is a whole squad of people who were involved on this project so I can’t take all of the credit. But, it’s totally become a passion project of mine. Over the last couple of months, I’ve spent endless hours developing the assets required to launch the podcast. Anything from topics, titles, descriptions, scheduling studio time, hiring audio and video experts, creating branding visuals, setting up platform assets, hosting, producing, launching, copywriting, and even building out the podcast website. The podcast was so much more tactical work than I ever dreamed of, but I fell in love with the process.
In the last year of the podcast I was producing, hosting, editing, publishing, and promoting with micro pieces of content I created. (I’m a big believer of Gary V’s Micro/Pillar content model. This was the podcast that kicked off my podcast support services. I’m still so invested in learning and developing my audio, video, copywriting, and creating skills.
I created the creative guideline and podcast playbook not only to outline the purpose, objectives, and format but also to inspire episode ideas and innovation. The file size has been compressed so that it’s easier to download.
